The one inch Neodymium dome tweeters, coupled with the custom built 18dB per octave crossover, have been praised by reviewers around the globe for their unmatched sound quality. For those of you who crank it up too much, a Raychem Poly-Switch protects against voice coil meltdown. The ULTRA SOFT long excursion suspension allows for maximum SPL when driven at low power - head unit; yet, the FOCUS midranges are designed with enough mechanical clearance to "ROCK" when driven at high power. The optimally balanced combination of midranges, tweeters, and crossovers fulfill the front staging and stereo imaging gaps inherent in factory installed stereo systems. Every component in these speakers are specifically designed to better enhance the reproduction of music and film to project it as it was recorded, without overdoing or under doing any aspects of the final product.

VTEK tweeters play robust, yet smooth highs thanks to the meticulous detail that went into making sure that these were not average tweeters. Precision machined ultra light weight titanium dome tweeters float on a miniature rubber surround that helps in dampening , dissolving rings or pings and preserving the ability to deliver high-frequency production. Our 6x9 incorporates a 1" tweeter and a 2" tweeter mid-range with a 1" high-temperature voice coil that makes it the most precise 3-way 6x9 available.

The VTEK speakers have ultra light weight electro plated woven Kevlar cones. These cones offer the most resilient and fast response drive period. With the expanded surround surface and our patented PistonMax technology the speaker is able to utilize it's long excursion and complete piston area, putting out more mid-bass response and clarity unlike the typical coaxial that use Kevlar.

The custom designed die-cast machined aluminum baskets were engineered to provide added internal cooling and utilize maximum movement of the cone. Internal cooling is achieved by allowing the voice coil to vent through passages underneath the base and the aluminum also acts as a heat sink much like an amplifier. The frame is very low profile but provides enough depth to allow the cone to move in long strokes that provide clean crisp and accurate bass response.

Not only is the new VTEK line a number one contender in the many of options out there it also looks extremely impressive when placed in situations that expose it all. The silver carbon Kevlar cone, brushed aluminum lip and titanium tweeter will sing out their hearts in 18 octaves and look good while doing so.
