PB-1 Torque Amplification Bracket

Description

The PB-1 is an S shaped torque amplification bracket that when combined with the Q10B Tactile Transducer will exert a  unheard level of tactile output on your chair, couch, or platform.

The PB-1 bracket works by harnessing the power of leverage. Leverage works by trading distance of a lever with weight times movement – the longer the lever the more weight can be lifted by a smaller weight traveling a longer distance. Discovered in ancient times and put into mathematical equation and thus history by Archimedes.

When designing your custom platform, ensure that you allow 1-1/2 to 2 feet of space around the outer perimeter of the chairs or couch. This much space is not required between the chairs.

All platforms should be constructed with no less than 1/2″ plywood and built sturdy for some seriously high speed entertainment. Additionally, the use of rubber stabilizers is an effective way to eliminate rattles and vibrations that may cause valuables to fall off walls or shelves. Additionally, the rubber feet will provide excellent suspension, allowing the Q10B to truly shine.

The optional PB-1 multiplier bracket can be installed underneath or inside couches or chairs, but it is more effective when mounted directly to a platform. Once it has been mounted to the platform, you can then place a chair or couch over it for a more plush, cosmetic appearance.
