The Earthquake EQ5S8 Cloth Surround Speaker is part of the EQ line of maximum musical output drivers. These drivers were specifically designed to provide smooth, low distortion midrange/midbass output for the highest-quality sound reinforcement applications. Because of their relatively high resonance and very low Qts value, the EQ line can be mounted in small enclosures while maintaining a smooth, peak-free resonance.
The EQ5S8 driver is fitted with a sealed back basket that acts like a protective barrier to eliminate interference from other components that may be loaded into the same enclosure. This feature allows the speaker to maintain its integrity and performance, resulting in high-fidelity sound preservation and reduced distortion.
