Description

Designed for truck owners who refuse to sacrifice bass for cargo space, this prefab enclosure combines Earthquake Sound's SWS-12X shallow-mount subwoofer with our SLAPS-M12 V3 passive radiator to deliver deep, powerful low-frequency performance from an ultra-compact footprint.

The SWS-12X’s patented shallow design produces impressive excursion and output while requiring minimal mounting depth, making it ideal for under-seat and space-constrained truck applications. Paired with the tunable SLAPS-M12 V3 passive radiator, the system extends low-frequency response and increases bass output without requiring a larger enclosure or additional amplifier power. The result is clean, hard-hitting bass with exceptional efficiency, musical accuracy, and low-end extension that outperforms traditional sealed truck boxes.

Built for modern pickups and daily drivers, this enclosure offers premium sound quality, maximum space savings, and the legendary performance Earthquake Sound is known for.

More Bass from A Shallower Space

Earthquake Sound introduces the TR12P, an ultra-shallow truck subwoofer system engineered to deliver the kind of low-frequency performance normally associated with much larger enclosures.

At the heart of the TR12P is Earthquake’s patented SWS12 shallow-mount subwoofer, capable of an extraordinary 2 inches of peak-to-peak excursion while requiring less than 3 inches of mounting depth. It is paired with the legendary M12 dual-suspension passive radiator, tuned below 20 Hz and capable of up to 3 inches of peak-to-peak movement.

The result is not simply more bass. It is bass with acceleration, authority and control. Much like a supercar engine extracting breathtaking performance from a compact, precisely engineered platform, the TR12P transforms limited truck-cab space into a deep-bass powerhouse. The M12 passive radiator is engineered to provide up to 6 dB of additional output within the tuned low-frequency region, extending the system’s response below 20 Hz while avoiding the turbulence and space requirements of a conventional port.

In shallow enclosures, the close proximity of the woofer to the rear wall can create unwanted pressure, reflections and mechanical loading. The M12 helps manage this energy, reducing disruptive cone interaction and allowing the SWS12 to move more freely and efficiently. Listeners experience bass that is deeper, cleaner and more physical—with less unwanted vibration and coloration.

The TR12P is built for truck owners who want to preserve cabin space without surrendering the lowest octave of music. Whether reproducing the impact of a kick drum, the weight of a cinematic effect or the subterranean energy of modern bass tracks, the system is designed to deliver output that can be heard, felt and remembered.
